Busbridge CofE Junior School is a Voluntary Aided Own Admissions Authority (OAA) school. We are a 2 form entry into Year 3 and have 8 classes across four year groups from Year 3 to Year 6 (age range 7 to 11 years of age).
Primary School Applications - Year 3 September 2026 entry:
From 3rd November 2025, Parents/Carers who live in Surrey will be able to apply for a primary school place. Applicants can apply online at
www.surreycc.gov.uk/admissions.
The closing date for Year 3 applications is 15th January 2026. Applications submitted after this date will be considered as late, unless they could not reasonably have been submitted by the closing date and are submitted by 12th February 2026. Applications must be returned directly to the child's home LA and not the school.
On 16th April 2026, evening: applicants who applied online will be sent an email or receive a notification through the app 'ParentComms' with their outcome. Online applicants may also log into their online account to view the outcome and submit their response. Surrey applicants who applied on paper will be sent their outcome via email. If Surrey Admissions does not have an email address for an applicant, the outcome will be sent via 1st class post.
By 30th April 2026, applicants will be asked to accept or decline their offer online, or if they have made a paper application, by returning the paper reply slip to the School Admissions team.
Secondary School Applications - Year 7 September 2026 entry:
The closing date for Secondary School applications is 31st October 2025.
On 2nd March 2026, evening: applicants who applied online will be sent an email or receive a notification through the app 'ParentComms' with their outcome. Online applicants may also log in to their online account to view the outcome. Letters will be sent via first class post to applicants who applied on paper and do not have an email address.
By 16th March 2026, applicants will be asked to accept or decline their offer online or, if they have made a paper application, by returning the paper reply slip, or emailing the response to the School Admissions team.

As an Own Admission Authority we as a school are responsible for applying our admission criteria, ranking the list of applicants and maintaining a waiting list where we are over-subscribed. Surrey County Council Admissions manage the application process and has a statutory duty to coordinate applications and allocations for Year 3 as part of the normal admissions new round, and also processes in year applications on the school’s behalf.
